Nature
Birds · Camino Nacional (Humboldt's route)
The old trail travelled by Humboldt and Bonpland in 1801, through cloud forest at 3,370 m above sea level. It is one of the best places in the country to see the Yellow-eared Parrot, which nests in the wax palm and was on the brink of extinction.
